Considered Review2 July 2024Smart and accommodating We stopped for lunch and enjoyed the smart surroundings. Buffet lunch was well-presented. The luggage captain was superb in his bowler hat. Capable and charismatic. Also a small outdoor pool with changing rooms. Thanks for accommodating us.

Hayley18730 June 2024Very warm welcome on our first night in Kenya We only stayed one night which is a shame as hotel was very nice, room was spacious and comfortable and there was a good variety of choice for breakfast. The pool did look very nice but we weren’t there long enough to try it out unfortunately! Everyone was very welcoming on our arrival to Kenya and it was a great start to our holiday, the extra touches for our honeymoon were very much appreciated!

susanandtony14425 June 20242 stays, 2 different experiences Eka Hotel is a very comfortable hotel to stay in. It is used for conferences and also by tourists starting or finishing a safari. The rooms are a good size and they have UK style plug sockets. Facilities include a small swimming pool with 6 sun loungers and towels plus table and chairs. The gym is small but has some decent equipment. There is a restaurant with a small but reasonably priced menu as well as a coffee bar with some lovely cakes and a bar as well. A small shop on site sells souvenirs if you don’t have time to go out and explore, though there is a shopping centre right outside the hotel with a Carrefour supermarket. We stayed overnight before safari and after safari. Service before safari in the restaurant in the evening was excellent but 8 days later the service was very poor with long waits to have order taken and then long waits to get food. We sent our soups back as they were only warm. There were apologies but no explanations. Had it not been for that we would have given 5 stars.
tam943323 June 2024Great hotel. Excellent hotel for our one night stop over between flights, great hotel with great staff excellent food. Room was very comfortable. The location is perfect as it sits in between nairobi international airport and Wilson airport and just on the outskirts of the city. Would definitely use again and recommend it.
ibusaya5114 June 2024A brief stop over before flying back to the UK Everything about our short stay in the hotel before our flight was excellent. From the lovely staff to the spotless bedroom. I would definitely recommend staying there if you visit Nairobi.

The staff is friendly and accommodating, the service is excellent and the rooms are clean, bright and comfortable.
